Ok, I don't know if it should be here... However if you want to do this in centos 5 you can use rc3.d runlevel folder.
It worked for me.

me sirvio , segui todos los pasos y listo,ahora mi lexmark 1195 esta funcionando, solo hay que tener en cuenta que en la ultima fase debemos navegar hasta donde se encuentra el archivo ppd.
tambien tenia el problema de que al hacer hamachi-init no obtenia ningun resultado ni error, hice lo que se ve aqui abajo y lo solucione, despues instale ghamachi que es un GUI o interfaz grafica,...
I had a problem like that, now I realize that gmake is the same that the simply make commands, I'll try with this, thank you.:)
